HI… HELLO … WELCOME…
CODIA is a not-for-profit company which exists to inspire, enable and support people in Lancashire (UK) to build careers and enterprises in the entertainment and creative industries. Our emphasis is on working mainly with young people, but we maintain the flexibility to work with people of all ages.
Our mission is to inspire the people we work with to aspire, to develop their career potential, and to empower them to contribute to, and participate in, the development of the entertainment and creative industries, both locally and nationally.
Our main focus at present is music industry career and enterprise development, with an outlook to broadening our scope to include other creative and entertainment sectors as we grow.
Our programmes and activities are committed to promoting social inclusion, with particular emphasis on providing people who are experiencing hardship or lack of opportunity with equal opportunity to fulfil their potential.
CODIA is a faith-based organisation, built on a Christian foundation. We are committed to social justice and opposed to discrimination in society. The standards set out in the Government endorsed Faithworks Charter guide how we operate and deliver our services to the community.
